Brief Profile : Dr. V.K. Garg is the Former Chairman
Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission, Goa & UTs .He has vast and varied rich
experience of more than 40 years. Dr. V.K. Garg after having served in Indian Economic
Service for 17 years shifted to Public Sector to serve for another 19 years before
he superannuated as Chairman and Managing Director of Power Finance Corporation
Ltd. Dr. Garg a PhD in Business Administration has served Energy Sector, Power and
Oil, in various capacities at senior positions. He was Director Finance of Power
Grid Corporation Ltd for 7 years. He is an MBA and has attended Advanced Management
Programmes at Texas University USA and Cambridge University UK in addition to obtaining
Certificate in Development finance Appraisal at Bradford University UK. He became
the Chairman of PFC in 2005 .Under his leadership PFC made successful transition
for Mini Ratna to Navratna PSU, the highest recognition for any public sector company
from Government of India for its performance. He spearheaded the paradigm shift
in the company’s business, culture and operations. PFC (IPO) under his stewardship
was oversubscribed 77 times, Qualified Institutional Investors oversubscribed 117
times, a record for any PSU. Achieved one of the highest per capita productivity
in India of post tax net profit of Rs. 4.3 Crores per employee per annum. Awarded
three Ultra Mega Power Projects of 4000 MW costing US$ 4 billion each at Sassan,
Mundra & Krishnapattnam in private sector, through international competitive bidding
in a record time. During his tenure in JERC the T&D losses out of 7 jurisdiction
under him 5 were reduced to 13% . out of these five, 2 jurisdiction were brought
below 9 percent.

Brief Profile : An Energy expert with more than 40 years of wide and varied experience in global contracts, project planning, construction, erection, operation, maintenance, procurement, policy research and strategic management for power sector and liaison with government and global agencies. Shri.J.K.Mehta is also the Regional Manager, (South Asia) for the World Energy Council (WEC), a global NGO with presence in nearly 100 countries worldwide and has done extensive work for promoting energy equity and rural energy access. He has been invited to participate in global energy events and speak on various energy issues in more than 25 countries worldwide. Shri Mehta is a certified Director of Institute of Directors and Fellow of the Institution of Engineers ( India).

Brief Profile : CA. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta is Founder
Treasurer of SAFFE . By profession he is a Chartered Accountant having a rich experience
of 24 years in the discipline of Finance , Accounts , Law , Taxation , Corporate
Planning , DPR , Fund Arranger , Debt Restructuring and Family Settlement . He was
awarded fellowship by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in
1995 . He was facilitated on several occasions by the various chapters of ICAI for
Guest Speaker in the Seminars organized by them . His Chartered Accountancy Firm
is having 4 branch in the country and 7 senior CAs are also associated with him
as partners . He conducts the Audits on behalf of C&AG , RBI and High Courts regularly
. He is associated with various social organizations viz Masonic Fraternity , Indian
Fedration of United Nations etc. to serve the society at large .

Brief Profile : Mr. Raina holds a Masters Degrees
in Management and in Public Administration. Over the past 33 years, he has held
senior level positions in government, public sector undertakings and multinational
organizations. He is the founder President of Entecsol International, a global energy
consulting organisation. The positions held earlier include; Director and Senior
Energy Advisor, Nexant Inc. USA (an affiliate of Bechtel Corporation), Deputy Chief
of Party for “South Asia Regional Initiative on Energy Cooperation and Development”
and Additional General Manager, Power Finance Corporation. He is a Member of the
World Energy Council (IMC) and the Joint India-Nepal Committee for the Development
of Hydropower, constituted by the FICCI and FNCC. He is a member of leading think
tanks including the South Asia Policy Analysis (SAPANA) and South Asia Free media
Association (SAFMA) and has close working relationship with South Asia Centre for
Policy Studies (SACEPS) and Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). He has been advising
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Governments of Germany and Japan, Asian Development
Bank, Energy Charter Treaty (Belgium), German Technical Cooperation Organization
(GTZ), Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Cooperation
(Japan) and the SAARC Energy Centre on energy issues.

Brief Profile : Dr. P.B. Rastogi has wide experience
in appraisal and environmental impact assessment of the diversified category of
projects including Oil & gas projects, Petro-chemical Refineries, Pipelines, Storage;
Steel, Cement, Leather, Paper, Sugar Distilleries, Fertilizers, Dyes & Chemicals,
Drugs, Fertilizers, Thermal Power Plants, Mining, River Valley, Roads, Infrastructure
etc. More recently, he is assigned with nuclear, defence and strategic projects
alongwith the policy and law. His exhaustive knowledge in the field of environment
is utilized for suggesting innovative ideas and solving the problems. He holds Ph.
D degree in Environmental Toxicology from Allahabad University and has carried out
Post-Doctoral Research at the University of Massachusetts & Massachusetts Institute
of Technology, USA during 1985-1987. He has also studied at University of Bradford,
Manchester Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh, U.K. in 1994, acted as Negotiator for
International Treaties at Sri Lanka besides specialized training in Monitoring and
Compliance at Cape Town. South Africa in 2008. He has several offices to his credit
including Institute of Oncology & Preventive Medicine, New Delhi; Jawaharlal Lal
Nehru University; University of Delhi; National Institute of Immunology, N. Delhi;
National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad, Gujarat; Ministry’s Regional
Office at Lucknow, U.P. & Chandigarh, World Bank assisted ICZM project at SICOM
(MoEF) and Ministry of Environment & Forests, New Delhi. During his 33 years scientific
career, he has published more than 60 articles / papers on Environmental Laws, Climate
change, Energy efficiency, Bio-diversity, Metallurgy, Mining, Solid/hazardous waste
management, Clean Technology, Environmental auditing, Environment management system
and many more topics. He has also been invited to deliver keynote addresses/invited
lecturers, as a guest of honour and Chairman to Sessions on various topics at the
national/international seminars/symposia/workshops/ conferences.

Brief Profile : Mr. Prabhat Saraswat is B.E (NIT-Surat)
1999, DMM, BEE Certified energy auditor, Lead auditor-EnMS ISO 50001.
He is presently representing Energy & Carbon Services ECS division) of MITCON Consultancy
& Engineering Services Ltd., at New Delhi branch Office as Asst. Vice President.
Basically he is an Energy professional with experience of 15 years in energy auditing,
providing advisory services to various industries to reduce energy cost, organizing
technical seminars. Skills include conducting the energy audits, expertise in operation
of measurement instruments, preparation of audit reports, outstanding presentation
and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
and sound understanding of energy conservation. Experience of conducting base line
study under PAT scheme, Benchmarking, Preliminary and Detailed Energy Audits and
Conservation projects in various industries segments & processes. Experience of
Demand Side Management (DSM) Programs& ECBC implementation with various utility&
SDA. He has the experience of feasibility studies of solar PV power project on estimation
of site potential for Power Generation & Preparation of Detailed Project Reports.
He has carried impact assessment ECBC scheme implemented during XIth Five Year Plan
for BEE. He done evaluation of Off grid and decentralized solar applications scheme
of phase-I of Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission for MNRE.

Brief Profile : He is presently, Director at Glocal
University, Saharanpur. Mr. Deepak Bhatnagar graduated in Metallurgical Engineering
(1971) from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Later, he also obtained Postgraduate
Degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business Management. He is a member of the
expert evaluation teams for new R&D projects in EU, DST and Steel Ministry . He
has been a Professor and Head of CITT at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, which
is a Deemed University under Ministry of Commerce. IIFT is among ten top Business
Schools in India This Centre has a focus on carrying out research studies and capacity
building programmes linking International Business with Technology Exports. He is
also teaching courses on Business Communications and Innovation Management to MBA
students. While at IIFT, he successfully completed Projects on Technology and Trade,
sponsored by European Commission , DST, Ministry of Commerce etc .He was the member-secretary
of the Sectoral council on Trade under the National Innovation Council .
